7 Must-Visit Instagram Spots in Boston, MA

Oh, Boston, my old stomping grounds and the place I’ll forever call home no matter where I live. My love for Instagram was born there, and after years of chasing cute facades and picturesque alleys, I can say I know this city like the back of my hand. I get a lot of questions about my favorite photo spots in the area, so here they are: my top 7 Boston locations for stunning Instagram photos.

1. carriage house

Here is it, the insta-famous house on Worcester Street in the South End neighborhood. Its well-preserved historical look attracts many photographers, both local and out-of-towners. Every time I see it, my heart skips a beat!

2. isabella stewart gardner museum

25 Evans Way, Boston, MA 02115

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is the most gorgeous museum I’ve ever seen, and to be honest, I’m surprised it’s not more popular. It’s a true Boston hidden gem. The lush courtyard looks breathtakingly beautiful and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. Interesting fact: you can get into the museum for free if your name is Isabella.

3. brattle book shop

9 West St, Boston, MA 02111

Founded in 1825,  Brattle Book Shop is known as America’s oldest and largest antiquarian shop. The giant yellow pencil on the storefront and the alley beside the book shop make it a very photogenic spot. Don’t forget to peek inside and check out their rare book collection on the third floor.

4. acorn street

Acorn Street is one of the most photographed streets in Boston, and it’s located in a historic part of the city. I’ve photographed every inch of this narrow cobblestone alley and can’t get enough of its beauty and charm. It’s a delight all year round.

5. rouvalis flowers

40 W Cedar St, Boston, MA 02108

Rouvalis Flowers is the most gorgeous flower shop in Boston—it reminds me of Europe so much! They always have cute seasonal displays, so the storefront looks new and different each time you visit.

6. boston public library

700 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116

Any Harry Potter fans here? You absolutely have to visit the Bates Hall in the Boston Public Library. Walking in, you’ll feel like you’ve been swept away and magically transported to Hogwarts! Don’t forget to check out the lovely inner courtyard and maybe even treat yourself to a fancy afternoon tea at the Map Room.

7. boston public garden

Boston Public Garden has so many beautiful backdrops for taking photos! Snap a shot of Boston’s iconic skyscrapers, the beautiful bridge, and the cute swan boats.
