With a lit candle on each table, this spot is the definition of cozy. The coffee and food are good and reasonably priced, making this spot very popular among both tourists and locals. It’s the perfect place to take a break from exploring.
ApoTek 57

This stylish cafe is part of Frama Studio Store, a homeware and interior design shop located inside a 19th-century pharmacy (hence the name of the cafe). Curated by chef Chiara Barla, the rotating menu features daily house-made seasonal bites and beverages. The bread and pastries are exceptional. We ordered their sweet and savory waffles, and they were heavenly – definitely worth trying! This is a popular spot in Copenhagen, so expect it to be busy!

Wild Horses is an independent coffee shop located in Copenhagen’s Sydhavn neighborhood. Although it’s a bit further from the main tourist attractions, this spot is definitely worth a visit. The open space, abundant light, minimalist interior, and vinyl records spinning all day create a great atmosphere. And this was probably one of the best, if not THE best, cups of coffee we’ve had in Copenhagen.

We’ve tried lots of Danish breakfasts—the one with a soft-boiled egg and a piece of bread with cheese and butter—all over the city. The one at Dallas Cafe was no doubt the best. With only three tables inside and a few benches outside, this place is cozy and intimate.
